Meetings are held on the first Friday of every month, 7.30 for 8.00 pm at:
Penarth Conservative Club,'Westwood' Stanwell Road, Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan. CF64 2EZ.

Penarth Aviation Society (PAS) was founded in September 2005 to promote all aspects of aviation.

Speakers give illustrated talks on all aspects and those allied to aviation.

Topics to date have included: Piloting Concorde, RAF Air Traffic Control, RAF Fighter Control during the Cold War, Royal Navy Fighter Control in WWII, The Falkland Islands, Buying & Selling Aircraft via Jetfinders, the Air Training Corps, Royal Navy liason with the RAF, British Aerospace, Aircrew Flight Planning, S. Wales & Gwent Police Helicopter Unit, Civil Air Traffic Control, Navigating across the Sahara Desert, Model Aircraft Construction, Flight Simulation, Pre-Flight Loading of Aircraft, RAF Fighter Command Filter Room, Lawrence After Arabia.

Visits have been made to the Museum at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Air Museum RAF Cosford, Cold War Museum at RAF Cosford, Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford, ATC at Cardiff International Airport, RAF Carew Cheriton Control Tower, Sunderland Museum Pembroke Dock, Cotswold Airshow Kemble.

There is a very convivial atmosphere at meetings, provided by the members who are from all walks of life: ex-RAF, ex-WRAF, ex-civil aviation, engineering, sales & marketing, legal profession, aircraft manufacturing, I.T., statistician, etc, and all with one common interest - aviation.

A strong social side when members meet at times other than both scheduled meetings and planned visits.
